In military operations during the Iraq-Iran war (1980-1988), sometimes situations with huge conflicts, and a large amount of casualties were predicted. In these instances, the facilities did not allow for relevant treatment and care of the numerous casualties. Setting up and provision of recovery centers under the name of the "Neghahatgah", to overcome these conditions, were an important, simple, life-saving and effective strategy of combat medicine. In this study, conducted by the "Holy War Museum", processes for designing, establishing, managing, maintaining and promoting the quantitative and qualitative level of emergency services and other health care services, at these centers are presented. The names and characteristics of the important recovery centers, used during the war have been appended.
