Abstract
Background and Aim: Changing the war approach from classic to asymmetric, and emergence of uneven threats, has been affected the combat support areas and revision their tactics accordingly. In military medicine, the substantial part of Relief and treatment is being done in field hospitals. Fitting the design, structure and function of field hospitals with asymmetric warfare threats is subject of this study. Methods: Data were analyzed using content analysis method and MAXQDA software, too. Results: Current structure, functions, and using conditions of field hospitals, under asymmetric warfare threats is incomplete and vulnerable. Conclusion: Designing, Structure and functions of the field hospitals should be revised, based upon the asymmetric warfare condition.
