Abstract
Background and Aim: The city of Bostan, at Khuzestan province, and 70 surrounding villages, were captured by the Iraqi Ba'athist army at the beginning of the imposed war. On 8 December 1980, the city of Bostan and its 70 affiliated villages were liberated by the Iranian Islamic forces. Combined with previous experiences and new initiatives, the Behdari-e-razmi has fully operationalized the medical and emergency support of the conflict (Tarigh-al-Ghods).
Methods: This article was assembled from the “Oral History Martial Medicine Database” at the “Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense Museum”, “Oral History Interviews” and “Scientific available resources review”.
Results: “The Conexii Field Hospital” was operational for the first time in this conflict, and the experiences and results were very valuable.
Conclusion: “Movable desert hospital structures” are widely used in terms of war situations and disasters. Weak security and facilities, are still the biggest problems with these structures.
