Abstract
Background and Aim: In the past human beings have made great efforts to increase their physical capabilities by using different materials and methods. In the history of contemporary human wars, there are many signs of the use of materials by soldiers that prepared them for brutal battles. Even today, man still pursues this dream and intends to make himself a perfect and immortal being. In recent decades and in parallel with the growth of technology, this desire has been taken into consideration more quickly, especially in the military forces. Currently, the military forces use various methods to improve their soldiers' performance. The main goal of these measures is to increase the capabilities of the internal forces to overcome the enemy more easily.
Methods: This study was conducted using the process of reviewing and analyzing the content of the published papers.
Results: The use of methods to increase the capability of military forces has grown significantly in recent decades. These methods are mainly divided into two categories: the use of physical tools, robots, methods affecting the central nervous system, genetic changes, or the use of medicines and chemicals. However, due to the costs associated with the production of these extracorporeal skeletons, their use seems to be limited to military special forces. The use of medicines and chemicals is the most common method of improving the capabilities of military forces. They also try to interfere with the mental abilities of the troops in sensitive operational conditions by interfering with the human nervous system.
Conclusion: In the battlefields, military forces need to make quick decisions, be alert at an ideal level, strengthen memory and perform multiple tasks. However, paying too much attention to increasing the extraordinary capabilities of soldiers with the daily use of drugs or tools may fundamentally change the nature of future wars. The ever-increasing rate of development of ways to enhance the capabilities of soldiers may make the soldiers of the future to be people who have no sleep or fear, consume any kind of substance as food, communicate with each other through telepathy, and easily pass through physical barriers. Of course, the use of different methods of increasing the performance of the military forces has created many questions and uncertainties in terms of the health of the forces, their human behavior, and legal and ethical aspects.
